Trades Pending Approval

We post the names of all new trade applications for a minimum of 30 calendar days. This is to solicit public comments. The Apprenticeship Training Program Director reviews comments and takes appropriate action. Per the Regulations, written comments received will be posted after the comment period has ended.

There are two ways to submit comments:

  1. E-mail ATCO@labor.ny.gov. Make the subject line "Comments on New Trade."
  2. Mail comments to:
    Attention: Comments on New Trade
    Apprenticeship Training Program Office
    NYS Department of Labor
    State Office Campus
    Building 12, Room 459
    Albany, NY 12240

    Your E-mail or letter must contain the following information:

    • Your name
    • Your title
    • Organization name
    • Comments
