The New York State Department of Labor inspects all amusement devices on or before the scheduled start date of an event. Only those devices deemed safe are allowed to operate. Detailed inspection results for each individual device will be posted within two weeks of the event start date.

|4/14/2017||As per section 870-i of the labor law, additional rule was amended to require all owners of amusement devices to have and maintain copies of a operator training records for each ride they have been trained to operate.||45-1.5|
45-1.5An amusement device, temporary structure, viewing stand or tent which is in violation of any of the substantive safety provisions of this Part (rule )shall not be used or occupied.
