Amusement Device Detials

The New York State Department of Labor inspects all amusement devices on or before the scheduled start date of an event. Only those devices deemed safe are allowed to operate. Detailed inspection results for each individual device will be posted within two weeks of the event start date.

7/14/2017 Operator was getting shocked when lighting system was turned on. Light switch in the center of ride is defective. OPERATOR CAN NOT USE THE LIGHTING SYSTEM UNTIL SWITCH IS FIXED, BREAKER HAS BEEN SHUT OFF.45-2.21(a)
45-2.21(a)General requirement. All electrical wiring, equipment and apparatus used for amusement devices or for lighting shall be installed, operated and maintained in compliance with this Part (rule), Industrial Code Rule 57 High Voltage Proximity, and the National Fire Protection, National Electrical Code, NFPA 70-1999 (NEC-1999).
