Eighty jobs will be created within the next few years by the center and related companies located in the business park and nearby.
Darien Lake Genesee 1600 03-11-2013 The theme park is looking to fill 1,600 positions for the 2013 summer season. Jobs are available in the following areas: food service, park services, ride operations, retail, accommodations, campground housekeeping, games, gift shop sales, aquatic operations, skilled trades and park maintenance, entertainment, guest services, security, and safety.

Eagle Productivity Systems Monroe 70 04-12-2013 The Brighton-based consulting and training company expects to grow by 70 employees by the end of 2013 because of changes in the pharmaceutical sector. The company works exclusively with the world's top 20 pharmaceutical companies, notably on customer relationship management software.
Eastman Kodak Monroe 65 04-17-2013 Kodak and UniPixel Displays Inc. announced a joint manufacturing and supply arrangement that will make touch screen sensors. The operation is expected to be up and running by fall and employ 65 to 75 people. The people will largely be transferred from other Kodak operations, such as film manufacturing.
Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack Ontario 75 01-31-2013 An expansion project is underway to add nearly 33,000 square feet and includes increasing the number of Video Lottery Terminals, a 102-seat restaurant, 22 televisions and the addition of a stage and dance floor. The expansion is set to be completed in November and will add nearly 75 permanent jobs.

Naturally Scientific Monroe 50 12-19-2013 The company signed a 15-year $250 million contract to enter into a joint venture with Sweetwater Energy to produce sugar from waste carbon dioxide. The technology converts carbon dioxide from the emissions of industries into sugars, which are then used to produce biofuels, biochemicals and bioplastics. The project will create 50 jobs by 2016 and about 200 in the future.
Optimax Systems Inc. Wayne 50 08-29-2013 The glass optics manufacturer has completed an optical coating facility that is the third and final phase of a project expansion and has created more than 50 jobs. The company now employs more than 200 people.

The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering Photovoltaic Manufacturing and Technology Development Facility Monroe 100 07-18-2013 More than $19 million in equipment purchased by the U.S. Department of Energy is being transferred to Rochester for solar power research. The facility is expected to be up and running later this year and will create 100 jobs and hopes to increase to 250 jobs in five years.
The Outdoor Group LLC Monroe 35 08-13-2013 The manufacturer of high-end archery equipment plans to build a new manufacturing facility in the Rochester suburbs. The company will retain 44 jobs at its Henrietta headquarters and bring 35 jobs that are being relocated from Kentucky.
Trellis Earth Monroe 200 07-10-2013 The disposable cutlery company is moving its manufacturing of its plant-based plastic cutlery and food service containers from China to Rochester Technology Park. They plan to hire nearly 200 new employees within five years. The plant is expected to start operating by the second quarter of 2014, with about 60 or 70 workers before ramping up.
Xerox Ontario 100 12-19-2013 The company will relocate a manufacturing operation from China to the nanotechnology center in Canandaigua. The move will mean 100 jobs over five years at the SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering Smart System Technology & Commercialization Center. The jobs are expected to be researchers, engineers and technicians. The company is relocating capital equipment used in the manufacturing of advanced document scanning equipment.
Xerox Corp. Monroe 25 07-25-2013 The company is investing $35 million to expand its toner plant in Webster. This will create 25 high-paying jobs, plus another 70 construction jobs.
