Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action (AA) New York State, Counties, Census county sets and Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs)

The 2006-2010 American Community Survey (ACS) Equal Employment Opportunity tabulation is the primary benchmark for comparing race, ethnicity, and gender composition of an organization's workforce to encourage employer compliance with anti-discrimination laws and regulations or to develop affirmative action programs where needed.

The estimates reflect workers' residences and are tabulated from the 2006-2010 ACS 5-Year Estimates, Table EEO 1r. Detailed Census Occupation and Table EEO 3r. EEO Occupational Groups by Sex, and Race/Ethnicity. For more information concerning EEO, see Technical Notes and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Tabulation.
